ABOUT LITTLE LEGENDS NURSERY SCHOOL
The Pre-school is the model and training Pre-school for the Play-with-a-Purpose Educational Trust. Trainee teachers come and observe and complete their practical at the school. What this means is that your child has the very best education possible. The teacher: child ratio is extremely low, and your child gets individual attention. There are several Play-with-a-Purpose pre-schools established in the area which are franchised and modelled on our Pre-school.
Play-with-a-Purpose is a unique developmental program that originated at our school and has been trained world-wide. Your child deserves nothing but the best each child is encouraged to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Join us in creating a foundation for a bright and purposeful future!
ADMISSIONS
- Children between the ages of 18 months and 5 shall be eligible for admission.
- On admission an enrolment form is to be signed both parents/guardians.
- Admission shall be at the discretion of the school.
- With the child’s interest at heart, it is recommended that a settling in period of one month be allowed in order for the child to adapt to his environment before any decision is madeconcerning continued participation.
SCHOOL HOURS
- School hours are from 08h30 to 12h30 each weekday. A teacher is on duty from 6h45 to 17h00. Children should not be delivered later than 08h30. A fine is charged if you collect your child after official hours without prior arrangement.
- Please deliver and collect your child from the teacher on duty. Children should not arriveor depart without adult supervision.
- No responsibility will be accepted for children either left before opening time or not collected by closing time unless by specific prior arrangement.
- While every effort is made to ensure your child’s safety accidents do occur and Little Legends Nursery School does not accept liability for accidents incurred to the children during school hours, on the school premises or during outings.
- The school adheres to the Education Department’s term dates.
FEES
- The fee structure is reviewed annually.
- Fees are payable in advance on the first day of each month.
- There will be no refunds in the event of absenteeism.
- One calendar months’ notice of termination is required or one month’s fees in lieu thereof.
